- Meanwhile, we're using Panasonic S-VHS recorders with a "Mini-VAS"
- controller. Works pretty well, except that the Mini-VAS uses a
- non-standard time code, so if you then want to edit with something
- like a Digital F/X you have to make a copy with the correct striping,
- so you get an extra generation. Unfortunately, the Digital F/X (at
- least the last time I used it) doesn't really support single-framing.
