  11. I wish to send uuencoded .PCX 8-bit grayscale and 24-bit colour images 
  12. to overseas FTP/E-Mail sites. In order to keep the encoding and 
  13. decoding standardized, I'm looking for an FTP source or the E-mail 
  14. address of: Theodore A. Kaldis who's copyright version 1.2 of QUUNCD -
  15. uuencode/uudecode for DOS systems is available for free distribution.

  19. I also have an unresolved problem in transferring images with the
  20. "send" or "put" command in FTP, using the VAX/ULTIX system. These are
  21. images that were transferred to the VAX account with mskerm(dos).
  22. On using FTP to "send" to another VAX account, the record length was
  23. converted from variable length, max. 510 bytes to fixed length, 512 
  24. bytes.
