  18. I have need to show 24 bit image files in 8 bit display.
  19. For that I would like to find some software.

  21. If you know where to find source code for an adaptive
  22. pseudo color program to create a 256-color (8 bit) file
  23. from 24 bit RGB files (3 separate 8 bit files, i.e. R,G and B),
