- Have you seen the Stereoscopic LCD glasses that several companies have out
- now? These glasses alternate between the left and the right lens on/off
- at a rate of 30 frames/sec. They work in conjunction with a monitor that is
- in sink with the glasses rate. The image produced by this hardware have all
- the workings of an faux 3d model that is readily grasped. Through the use
- of triangulation methods, the orientation of the glasses is known at all
- times within a 80 degree normal to the screen. Several companies incorperate
- the use of litium batteries within the glasses, eliminating the constaints
- of the cord connection between the hardware.
