- Hi,
- at SAS Institute GmbH of Germany, we have got a LASERGRAPHICS
- LFR Plus camera (Matrix Film Recorder) with a RASCOL rasterizing
- board.
- LFR provides a program called "TRIP" (TARGA Raster Image Printer)
- in order to output TARGA images.
- They use an aspect ratio of 1:1.0673, and an overscan pixel
- aspect ratio of 1:1.2014.
- My problem is that when I output TARGA images (converted from GIF
- or JPG by Image Alchemy 1.6) to the camera, the images get distorted
- with either the normal aspect ratio, even worse with the overscan one.
- Is anyone out there who has encountered this problem as well?
- Is there a newer release of TRIP than the Release 0.13?
- Or, more general, where do these strange aspect ratios come from?
- (No possibility to use 1:1?)
- Any reference or experience reported to me would be greatly
- appreciated.
- Regards,
- Thomas
