  13. at SAS Institute GmbH of Germany, we have got a LASERGRAPHICS
  14. LFR Plus camera (Matrix Film Recorder) with a RASCOL rasterizing
  15. board.
  16. LFR provides a program called "TRIP" (TARGA Raster Image Printer)
  17. in order to output TARGA images.
  18. They use an aspect ratio of 1:1.0673, and an overscan pixel
  19. aspect ratio of 1:1.2014.
  20. My problem is that when I output TARGA images (converted from GIF
  21. or JPG by Image Alchemy 1.6) to the camera, the images get distorted
  22. with either the normal aspect ratio, even worse with the overscan one.
  23. Is anyone out there who has encountered this problem as well?
  24. Is there a newer release of TRIP than the Release 0.13?
  25. Or, more general, where do these strange aspect ratios come from?
  26. (No possibility to use 1:1?)
  27. Any reference or experience reported to me would be greatly
  28. appreciated.
