  10. I've never quite been able to give up vi.  What a perverse pleasure I
  11. enjoyed when I began to learn emacs and found the "vip-mode".  No new
  12. editor to learn! (Well, almost.) 
  13. But I used the emacs functions and even write emacs-lisp now.  
  14. Over the months, my key-bindings changed enough so that I couldn't really
  15. call it vi anymore. So, I went into my own copy of vip.el and changed
  16. the status line to read "Fly".  So now I use the "fly" editor. The first
  17. editor that's completely, naively derived from two others!
