  36.         Sedt is  a  text  editor  for  the IBM PC and compatibles
  37. running DOS  Microsoft Windows,  OS/2,  DEC  Rainbow,  ATARI  ST,
  38. VAX/VMS, VAX/ULTRIX, RISC/ULTRIX,  SCO  System  V, and SCO XENIX.
  39. Sources may be licensed for porting to other systems.  Porting to
  40. other UNIX implementations is usually trivial.

  42.         Sedt  is  a  shareware  program and may only be  used  by
  43. properly  licensed  users.    See  the  file  LICENSE.TXT for the
  44. license agreement.  The license fee includes ONE of the following
  45. packages.  Further  updates  and additional packages will only be
  46. made upon payment of the proper distribution fee.

  48. Distribution can be made in the following formats:

  50.         1.2 or 1.44  MB IBM  formatted  floppy disk with Sedt for
  51.         MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows and on-line documentation.

  56.         1.2 or 1.44 MB IBM formatted floppy disk  with  Sedt  for

  71.         The distribution charge is $15 U.S.   plus  $10 U.S.  for

  76. Please write me  a  letter  indicating your reasonf for needing a
  77. source license.  I  will return you a license agreement which you
  78. will need to fill out, sign and return to me before I will mail a

  80. will be in line with the binary licensing fees.

  82.         Site licenses.   For  a  given number of employees, using
  83. any systems at the site,  does not cover non site relevant use of
  84. Sedt by employees.  Site license  includes  free  distribution of
  85. one kit.  Site licenses only apply to one  geographical site of a
  86. company or non-profit institution.  Fee is dependent on number of
  87. employees using Sedt:

  97.         Educational  licenses.    There  is  no license  fee  for
  98. instructional, class-room use.  Site license fees apply  to other
  99. uses by educational institutions.

  101.         For orders placed outside the U.S.   I appreciate payment
  102. in U.S.  funds payable by a  U.S.  bank.  Checks not payable to a
  103. U.S.  bank involve hefty charges.

  105.         I continuously  fix  problems  that I am aware of and add
  106. new features.   At any time an order comes in, I ship the current
  107. the version I am  working on.  If, for some reason, you find that
  108. the software I shipped you  has  a  serious problem, I'll be more
  109. than happy to fix the problem,  if I haven't done so already, and
  110. ship you  a  replacement.    Also, if you intend to put Sedt on a
  111. bulletin board, please do so only after testing it thoroughly, or
  112. get in contact with me.
