- I use regularly the msdos version of Elvis 1.6, and it is
- excellent.
-
- Anyway, i have found 2 rather annoying bugs, and i don't know if
- they are only in the msdos version or in any version.
-
- (1) set wrapmargin doesn't work if there is a tab in the line.
-
- (2) if you send a line that doesn't end in a newline character
- (that is, the last line of your file, without ending it with
- Enter) to a filter with the ! command (!}fmt) elVIs screws up and
- i have to reboot.
-
- The suggestion (just for MSDOS): let it find the elvis.rc file in
- the same directory where the program is. It's awkward to have to
- set a "set home=path" variable just for elvis, and many of us
- have very cluttered enveironments already.
