-
- The current TI C30 Compiler is now a C3x/C40 (i.e. floating point) compiler and
- is on revision 4.40 (if I remember correctly the version you have is almost
- three years old). Version 4.50 is scheduled to be released in October.
-
- The PC compiler now costs $1500 for new versions. Since you already have a
- compiler you might be able to get updated with a low registration fee
- (depending on how you got the compiler). Most universities are waived from the
- registration fee, however, and a lot of universities can get free software
- through the University program. Since you're in New Zealand, however, this may
- be a little difficult.
-
- There really aren't any other C compilers for the C3x. There is a GNU C++
- Compiler which Sonitech is now marketing, but I am not sure what it's like.
