  24. The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for the discussion of 
  25. new  theories, techniques and applications in the area of Higher-Order 
  26. Statistics. The emphasis will be on a balance between theory and applications. 
  27. The workshop will feature keynote speakers, tutorial sessions, and contributed 
  28. papers (lecture and poster presentations). There will be no parallel sessions. 
  29.  
  30. Suggested topics include but are not limited to: linear and nonlinear modeling 
  31. and identification, inverse problems, estimation techniques, robust and
  32. adaptive algorithms, implementation issues, nonstationary processes, array, 
  33. image and optical signal processing, time-scale, time-frequency and 
  34. cyclostationary methods using higher-order statistics. Contributions that 
  35. include real data experiments and applications in all areas  are strongly 
  36. encouraged.

  38. Authors are encouraged to submit four copies of a two-page extended summary 
  39. to Dr. G. Giannakis (address below); summaries should include addresses, 
  40. affiliations, telephone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses.
