  12. I'm trying to set up a project on noise recognition systems, recognize some
  13. form of noise such as siren (police, fire etc.), alarm signal or any other
  14. warning noise which will alert a deaf person.
  15.  
  16. I'm thinking of using Signal Processing and Neural Network for detecting
  17. above noise and will be using parallel processing such as Transputers
  18. and DSP (perhaps, I will be using Transputers instead of DSP).

  20. I would be grateful if you had any ideas/info' of using Signal Processing
  21. and Neural Network (both hardware and software) for the above project - any
  22. hints would be grateful obtained.

  24. Where shall I get the info'/material of Richard P. Lippmann's work on sound
  25. alerting aid for the deaf, signal processing for hearing aids and relating
  26. info'.
