- Nope, you can't have different-length masks on the same "real" network number.
- (I think this is scheduled to change, sometime in the not-too-distant future.)
- However, you can get around the problem by using "ip unnumbered" links; see
- your friendly manual for details. (The only problem with such links is that
- you can't ping the endpoints directly or netboot across them.)
