  11. I have been in the market for a telebit Worldblazer modem, I am in
  12. Belgium and I have posted a request for someone who would be willing
  13. to sell me one.

  15. I just thought I would inform all or any of you who may be interested
  16. what the story is about Telebit in Europe.

  18. First of all Telebit themselves won't sell to Europe from the states,
  19. they automatically give you their distributor in UK.
  20.  
  21. Some American companies will send to Europe and the best price is $645
  22. and the worse is $780.

  24. Now for the funny part, and this will explain why so many people buy
  25. their computer and electrical equipment from the states, the salesman
  26. at Telebit UK is called Richard Brayshaw his phone number is
  27. +44.784441986, be prepared for a long wait on the phone as he seems to
  28. be the only salesman, here comes the funny part, the price in UK is 945
  29. pounds, is this a fu****g joke or what, ok, I am in Belgium and so he
  30. gave me the Benelux distributor information, this is a company called
  31. Vagner +352.310881, I called them, I asked for Telebit sales and I was
  32. put through to 3 people before someone informed me that they were
  33. unauthorized to give the prize.

  35. I am not quite sure what is funniest, the 945 pounds from UK or the
  36. Luxembourger not being authorized.

  38. So, if you want a Telebit, you buy one from the states, of course
  39. without warranty or you buy another brand, I suggest we give Telebit a
  40. miss and give them a big rasberry.
