- We have a unidirectional radio link with voice grade bandwidth. We want
- to run data over this link generated from a PC's rs232 port.

- Ideally, I'd like to be able to buy a couple of off-the-shelf modems
- and use them to modulate and encode the data. I guess error
- correction is impossible, since we've only got one-way communication.

- What's the fastest off-the-shelf modem I could use for this application?
- What encodings are suitable for unidirectional links?
