  11. I am shopping for a new dlm.  I had been pleased with our CXR telcom 
  12. 840 until I saw sparks fly from the dc adapter plug.  I popped it open 
  13. and found that they had used glue to attach the power to the motherboard.  
  14. Somewhere between the glue and the sparks I decided to not send them 
  15. their $500 flat repair fee.  As Dave Berry would say, "I'm not making
  16. this up".

  18. Can I get some good suggestions on a replacement.  Portable, stand-alone 
  19. is preferred, but it looks like there are some good pc based products.  I 
  20. need high data rates, 38.4kpbs async.
