- The above values are taken six times a second and indicate the highest
- possible signal line quality rating from a Scout+. So this line will
- allow 14,400 bps connects.

- This line will also allow 14,400 connects, but its somewhat harder. On
- Scout+ connections some modems will cause frequent retrains. If you dont
- like retrains, you can use AT*Q0, which will give stable connects,
- unless, of course, the line quality kinks down even more. In that case
- you use AT*Q2 or AT*Q3 to allow the modems some flexibility to negotiate
- lower DCE speeds and in case of AT*Q3 even allow them to disconnect in
- the case no data can be exchanged after renegotiation.
