  22. Actually, I think it will pass, and not be abandoned; the companies 
  23. that voted no on the last ballot have indicated that they will 
  24. support it this time.  If they don't, or if somebody else votes no 
  25. for some reason, then I think everyone will simply be so frustrated 
  26. after four years of work that the project might very well be 
  27. abandoned.  What we'd have left is a "sort of" ersatz "industry 
  28. standard" consisting of the various "Class 2" modems in the field, 
  29. but we'd also have the expanded and enhanced Class "1A" coming very 
  30. soon which I think would be the "real" standard going forward into 
  31. the future.
