- Note also that the documentation doesn't necessarily reflect what
- the modem will actually do and there was no addenda with mine.

- A 'feature' when using the Scout Plus on pulse-dial lines in Japan
- is that when the carrier is lost, the slight 'click' the telco makes
- is intpreted as RING. If S0 != 0, the modem will try and answer what
- it thinks is an incoming call. Thus if you are thinking of using the
- Scout as an automatic answering modem you might want to think twice
- about it if you're not in the U.S.
