  13. I want to pick data off the serial port(RS232C) and Manchester
  14. code it. I found that Harris makes a chip which does encoding and
  15. decoding (HD6409). I am wondering if anybody has delt with the
  16. chip? Is it possible to encode data off the serial port right
  17. away or do I have to bring the data to TTL level?
  18.  
  19. Is it good to use the chip or shall I build my own encoder?
  20. Any suggestion as to how to build the encoder/decoder?
