- Hi,
-
- I want to pick data off the serial port(RS232C) and Manchester
- code it. I found that Harris makes a chip which does encoding and
- decoding (HD6409). I am wondering if anybody has delt with the
- chip? Is it possible to encode data off the serial port right
- away or do I have to bring the data to TTL level?
-
- Is it good to use the chip or shall I build my own encoder?
- Any suggestion as to how to build the encoder/decoder?
-
- thanks
