- Nothing pessimistic about it, just the truth. If the standard
- doesn't pass this time, there won't be one (for Class 2). The
- revision and extension of Class 1 is proceeding very nicely, though,
- and I think it will ultimately be a better solution anyway. But I'm
- not giving up on Class 2 yet; the last rumor I heard is that the
- companies that voted "no" last time will vote favorably or abstain
- this time, so it may pass.
