  13. I have been working with some Hayes smartmodem 1200s connected to a 3B2/500.
  14. Using a standard ACU Modem connector and modem switch settings 
  15. (dial-in -> 3 & 8 down, dial-out -> 3, 6 & 8 down), I have been, so far, unable to do both dial-ins AND dial-outs with the same modem. Yes..I'm using uugetty onthe port.
