- I had a similar problem with a Zoom Faxmodem, but the radio signal
- seriously affected the ability of my modem to connect to other
- computers. The dealer I bought the modem from (who shall remain
- nameless) told me the connect problem was caused by my comm program
- (Telix), or by my slow, old XT. Wrong on both counts!
- Solution: I went down to my local Phone Mart and got a radio
- interference filter for phones. B.C. Tel used to give these away, I've
- heard, but now charge about $29.95. I no longer receive radio stations
- on my modem and I don't have connect problems any more.
