  19. Well, in my application (PC based bbs network) the WB is as fast as (resp., if
  20. V.42 is concerned, faster than) the USR V.32bis - at any rate with streaming
  21. protocols like ZModem.
  22. V.32bis/V.42 ZModem transmissions average up to 1660cps now, while the USR was
  23. limited to 1620cps (protocol startup time included, so that the raw speed is
  24. somewhat higher).

  26. The WB certainly has higher latency, and therefore it is not surprising that it
  27. is somewhat slower on V.32bis uucp transmissions without spoofing.
