- Well, in my application (PC based bbs network) the WB is as fast as (resp., if
- V.42 is concerned, faster than) the USR V.32bis - at any rate with streaming
- protocols like ZModem.
- V.32bis/V.42 ZModem transmissions average up to 1660cps now, while the USR was
- limited to 1620cps (protocol startup time included, so that the raw speed is
- somewhat higher).

- The WB certainly has higher latency, and therefore it is not surprising that it
- is somewhat slower on V.32bis uucp transmissions without spoofing.
