  20. My standard connection is a 9600 baud v.32 connection with MNP/4 correction
  21. and MNP/5 compression, and I haven't had any problems with that.  I have had
  22. difficulties when I specify a DTE that's different than my DCE, but I think
  23. I've got the flow-control set a little bit wrong or something.

  25. For techies out there, I'm connecting from the PPI to a Multitech hung off
  26. a Cisco box, then going over a T1 to a Sparc-2.  Using 'sz' on the Sparc, I've
  27. gotten up to 1024cps at 9600 with mnp/mnp.  There have been rumours about the
  28. Cisco's modems being upgraded to v.32bis/v.42bis 14.4's later this year, so I
  29. will see what kind of rates I get then. :)
