- The latest version of KERMIT, 5A(179) BETA, permits higher speeds, a
- sliding-window version of the KERMIT protocol, networking support, and a
- bunch of other stuff. I've used the ALPHA version (5A(170) for well
- over a year on SunOS 4.0.3, 4.1.x, and UNIX System V release 3.2 and
- 4.0.3.
