- When I got my first HS modem (A MultiTech) I had similar problems under
- SCO to all this crap. Turned out to be my serial board. Replaced it
- with a different card with 16550 chips and the problems went away. My
- GUESS is perhaps the older chips were not responding properly to a very
- fast CD change, but I'm not sure. Also double check the cables. I
- don't really have these problems with my WB.
