  20. I would recommend the Zoom, believe it or not.  It's proven quite reliable,
  21. with the only trouble being connects to Telebit modems (which I have been
  22. able to work around with scripts).

  39. Really!  Does your Zoom say v.42bis on the outside?  If not, then you did
  40. get ripped off.  Otherwise, though, the modem should do what it says, and
  41. perhaps I can help you with some register settings.
