  21. NOOOOOOO!  A DELNI is not a repeater in any stretch.  It is just a box that
  22. allows you to connected eight devices in close proximity without having to use
  23. a cable.  A DELNI forwards SQE to its connected devices in global mode,
  24. provides SQE-Test and forwards SQE to its connected devices in local mode.
  25. A DELNI does not perform any of the tasks normally attributed to a repeater.
  26. A repeater:
  27.     Amplifies the signal,
  28.     Retimes the signal, and ensures that symmetry is within tolerance
  29.     Sends it out on the next segment with a new preamble,
  30.     Provides a Jam if a collision is seen on its one of its segments.

  32. A DELNI can do none of these things.
