- Many times there is a need to customize SQL*Forms forms generated by
- the Oracle CASE tools. Many sites have written awk scripts ( in unix o/s) or
- other utilities to modify the ".inp" file. These utilities help to automate
- the customization procedure. Now the dreaded word going around is that Oracle
- may get rid of .inp files for SQL*Forms 4.0. (????)
-
- A method to avoid modifying .inp file would be to generate the
- customization file which would be input of keystrokes to the forms designer
- using option -r. Has anyone taken this route ? Is it worthwhile ? Your input
- is appreciated. Any other alternative.
-
- I will post the summary.
-
- Thanks in advance.
