- Er... I realize now that you must defer quit in the main routine and
- cannot switch it back on. :^<
-
- Thanks to all who responded to my request for HP termcaps. I'm still
- looking for one that supports Informix line drawing char set well.
-
- ...And report generator suggestions.
-
- And what's the deal with flat file I/O? I presume you must use the
- standard C library routines? Suggestions for managing 4GL code size?
- Strategies for managing code structure for large-scale programs?
- I-4GL seems to encourage global variables, which I hate.
-
- Keep in mind that I've only been using the product (and Unix, for that
- matter) for a few weeks, but there sure are some frustrating quirks to
- the language. (Since I have just expressed a personal opinion, I issue
- "standard" disclaimer: my opinion only. I do like Informix.)
-
- Thanks...
- Andy
