  11.   I need help finding a database for a specific application.
  12.  
  13.   I store a great deal of textual information that I retrieve from the network
  14. (stories, humour, etc).  All of this text is beginning to take up a great deal
  15. of room on my hard drive.  It is also getting very difficult to find stuff.
  16.  
  17.   So what I am looking for is a database application (or language) that
  18. specializes in text storage.  I would also like it to do some compression
  19. (otherwise my database file will take up more room than my text files).

  21.   If anyone knows of any product that does the above, could you please e-mail
  22. me or post a message about it to this group.  The product must be for DOS based
  23. (or windows), and can be shareware or commercial.
