- In terms of DOS applications, Pro-Cite from PBS in Ann Arbor, MI is very
- good. It includes lots of report choices pre-formatted to conform with
- all kinds of standardized bibliography styles (Chicago Manual of Style,
- professional journal styles, etc.)
-
- If you plan to have an annotated bibliography with extensive notes or abstracts,
- you would be better off to look at some kind of full-text information manager,
- such as askSam from askSam Systems, Perry, FL (800-800-1997).
-
- I strongly suggest you stick with an application written to manage textual
- information. Even the best and brightest database products are practically
- useless when it comes to functionallity for managing text.
