  12. I wondering if there is a paper or book that describes the dBASE database
  13. and index format. Since there are multiple vendors offering products that
  14. claim to be compatible with the dBASE dbf format, am I correct in assuming
  15. that the file format is public domain. Or do all these folks just reverse
  16. engineer the stuff.

  18. Any thing that describes Clipper or Foxpro index format would also be great.
