- I wondering if there is a paper or book that describes the dBASE database
- and index format. Since there are multiple vendors offering products that
- claim to be compatible with the dBASE dbf format, am I correct in assuming
- that the file format is public domain. Or do all these folks just reverse
- engineer the stuff.

- Any thing that describes Clipper or Foxpro index format would also be great.
