- Hi there...
-
- I have two (probably simple?) question about indexes:
-
- - How can I determine wether an index file is still "up to
- date" / "valid" for a data base or not? E.g., two users use
- the same dbase & index through the net, user A appends a
- record and has *not* *yet* issued a reindex command. How
- does user B know that the index is not up to date?
-
- - (Same situation as abov. If onuser A eventually *does* issue
- a "reindex", and thus updating an index which is used by
- user B as well, is B's index still valid after the
- "reindex"?
-
- Any help is greatly appreciated...
