  16. I'm looking for a database management system to use to manage data for health
  17. and aging statistics. This is for a Sun Sparcstation 2. I'm familiar with
  18. Informix, Sybase, and Oracle, however, these DBMSs cost alot of money and may be
  19. overkill for what we need to start. 
  20.  
  21. 1) what are other research (medical and otherwise) areas using to manage data?
  22.  
  23. 2) what are some decent inexpensive DBMS's for the Sun platform?
  24.  
  25. I'd be glad to forward the responses I receive to those interested.
