  14. I shelled out of a DOS program, and have 279K free according to 4DOS.

  16. However, when I try to ZIP some files, I get the error message:

  18.     Out of memory (window allocation)
  19.  
  20. Is this because the DOS program is running in a DOS compatibility box under
  21. OS/2, and I have the wrong type of memory? Is my environment too small?
  22. Here's what 4DOS says I have:

  27.   2,490,368 bytes total EMS memory
  28.   1,900,544 bytes free

  35. So what's going on?
