  31. Note: zip19p1 means zip 1.9 patch level 1. It has been sent to the
  32. comp.sources.misc moderator but it is not yet posted. Three important
  33. bugs are corrected in this release.

  36. cause trouble on wuarchive by uploading zcrypt19.zip.
  37. The encryption sources have been sent to the European comp.sources.misc
  38. moderator in charge of posting encryption code, but they have not
  39. yet been posted either. For the moment you can get them from

  43. I do not distribute MSDOS executables with encryption, you have
  44. to build them yourself. The reason is that most archive sites do not
  45. wish to store such executables.

  47. Non US users, please do *not* get the encryption code from
  48. a US site (if you happen to find one). European users can also
  49. find the zip and unzip sources in

  54. Remember that the encryption version is a little slower than the
  55. standard version, and that the security is very dependent on the
  56. password length. Do not use any password below 9 characters, it's
  57. just too easy to crack by brute force. And don't use lower case letters
  58. only...
