  13. I am looking for realtime benchmarks which:
  14.  
  15. 1) measure the regular things such as preemption latency, interrupt
  16. latency, etc.,
  17. 2) run entirely in user-state, ie. do not require kernel modifications, 
  18. 3) run on various flavors of Unix
  19.  
  20. I would appreciate any pointers to either sources or descriptions of such
  21. benchmarks. Also, I was wondering how much of (1) can be accomplished given
  22. (2). This might explain the apparent dearth of benchmarks which possess the 
  23. characteristics given above, specially when compared to the numerous general
  24. processor performance benchmarks.
