- A few problems with that type of program....
-
- 1. How are you going to come up with the account names? Can't use
- just the first name, too many duplicates. Same with first name
- last initial. What if the first name is more than 8 characters?
-
- 2. What are you going to use for a password. Just about any info
- you would have on file would likely be known by people other
- than that student. Some dishonest person could really cause
- problems.
-
- Probably the best way to handle it would be to have them just logon
- and signup as a new user. Then have an external program that'll
- compare their name to a list and upgrade the access level if it's
- found.
