  12. Greetings to one and all.... I am new to these newsgroups so please excuse
  13. the simplicity of the question.....

  15. 1) I am currently running Major BBS ver 5.3 - Galacticom / 16 user version. 
  16. I have seen the ads, and received the advertisements from Major BBS, but have
  17. not had a chance to actually use the system.  Has anyone used version 6? If 
  18. so, how would you rate it as compared to version 5.3?

  20. 2) I have heard that the SNA (I think that's the name) has relaxed the rules 
  21. that govern who can get a internet connection.  Is there anyway regular bbs
  22. systems get a live connection with internet, and if so how much does it cost?
  23. I live near a major distribusion point... (Stony Brook University) which 
  24. provides a connection to most of Europe, so I'm sure they have the capacity
  25. to get the lines out.
