  10. A little more info for you folks starting up FIDONET nodes and having some
  11. problems with it.  Someone recently asked me where they might find a parser
  12. for the nodelist that does V7 lists.  Try OPARS100.ZIP or it might be in
  13. LZH format and can be FTP'ed from NIC.FUNET.FI login anonymous.  I think
  14. it is located in /pub/bbs/opus.  It is in one of the opus directories, anyways.
  15. Tell it to compile a V7 nodelist in your OPARS.CFG control file.  If you are
  16. running under BINKLEYTERM, then you will also need to change the BINKLEY.CFG
  17. file to tell it to use a V7 Nodelist if you are using a new version of Binkley.
  18. Versions 2.40 and earlier will be using a V6 or NEWNODELIST in the config file.
  19. I have been trying to find a version of Parselist which will compile V7
  20. Nodelists, but have not contacted the author of the program yet.  If I connect
  21. with him, I will relay information to USENET.  Till then... happy BBSing folks!

  23. P.S.  I am setting up a BBSUTIL file section and will have it available to all
  24. sysops which to download them from the bbs shortly.  I also have ordered a 14.4
  25. Modem to support those fast data compressed sessions allowing you to transfer
  26. files at 57.6KB by early next week.  The System will be down Monday for some
  27. maintenance and resume at 2400 Baud Monday evening about 7PM.  Then will be
  28. down a short while to setup the 14.4k when it arrives.
