  11. Someone recently e-mailed me concerning where the Fidonet Nodelist may
  12. be FTP'ed from.   The information is below, but keep in mind the FTP
  13. sites should be utilized during off-times only.  Thanks goes to those
  14. individuals who spend the time to keep the FTP sites open and I appreciate
  15. that.  Here is the scoop on the latest nodelist:

  17. FTP to:
  18. M2XENIX.PSG.COM
  19. Login anonymous using your complte e-mail address as password.
  20. cd/pub/fidonet/nodelist
  21. do a "TYPE I"
  22. get NODELIST.??? where ??? is equal to the numeral such as todays' list
  23. would be nodelist.234.  It will change every friday to the julian date
  24. of that friday.  so expect the next one to be nodelist.241.  This file
  25. is long and it is assumed you know how to make it ready for use usin such
  26. software as parselst, sysnl, opars among other nodelist parsers.
