- I have a question regarding setting up a Multi-User Database BBS. I would like to have
- a system which could allow a number of users, (say 10) to call one number and access
- a computer database system. Currently, I understand that I can get a hunt group phone
- service from the phone company, which will allow the users to call one number to access
- this BBS. I was also informed that I will need to get one modem for every telephone line.
- Is there any modem available that will handle more than one phone line (reducing cost)?
- The maximum baud rate that I plan on supporting will be 2400, is there anyway to determine
- how many computers will be needed to support my application? If I need more than one
- computer to service these users, what is the best way to network these computers together.
- I will be setting up a database system which should allow users to search on key items of
- interest to them. What is a good software package to support multi-users allowing easy
- search capabilities and how will this look when someone calls through a modem? Your help
- is needed since I have just started to learn about setting up a system like this. Comments
- can be mailed to: "thweatt@whitefish.rtsg.mot.com" or reply to this post.

- Thank you,
