  20. GNU indent changes the appearance of a C program by inserting or
  21. deleting whitespace according to a great variety of options.  Several
  22. canned styles of formatting are supported as well.  GNU indent is a
  23. decendant of BSD indent.

  25. GNU indent 1.6 is now available on prep.ai.mit.edu [18.71.0.38] in the
  26. file /pub/gnu/indent-1.6.tar.Z.

  28. Version 1.6 fixes all the bugs reported for version 1.5.
