  19. Have you ever dreamt of shutting down a VAXcluster or several VAXen with
  20. one mouse click. Now here we are. DWSHUTDOWN V1.0 is now released. It runs
  21. in an OSF/Motif environment and requires DECwindows/Motif V1.0 or later and
  22. VAX/VMS V5.4 or later. It won't work with the Motif Developer's Kit.

  26.   - Shutdown time range from 0 to 120 minutes, selectable by slider
  27.   - Nodes are selectable from a dialog box with a scrolled list
  28.   - Shutdown options are selectable as toggle and/or radio buttons
  29.     from a dialog box
  30.   - All settings can be saved in a resource file

  32. Restrictions:
  33.  
  34.   - Restore (named) options not yet supported (I don't get it running, maybe
  35.     someone out there has an idea)
  36.   - No online help available in this release
  37.   - Selected node names are not saved in resource file

  39. The package consists of 3 savesets DWSHUTDOWN010.A/B/C and can simply
  40. installed invoking VMSINSTAL. The savesets are available via anonymous
  41. ftp from

  43.     olymp.informatik.uni-bonn.de in the directory
  44.     /pub/vms/dwshutdown
  45.  
  46. as DWSHUTDOWN010.A_Z/B_Z/C_Z.

  48. After packaging the source files I will leave them also in this directory
