- Does anyone know the generator polynomial, g(x), used to encode the P and Q
- error detection and correction codewords for CD-ROM? The YELLOW book
- specifies P(X), as x**8 + x**4 + x**3 + x**2 + 1, but this only defines
- the primitive polynomial for GF(8). I am looking for the polynomial used
- to actually generate the codewords (and therefore used for decoding).
