  26. Ah yes, of course. That they both provide memory resident tasks, a
  27. single address space, and other fairly primitive facilities does not
  28. matter a lot. MVT had limited paging/swapping of task pages, just as the
  29. newer System 7 has, even if an argument can be made then that System 7
  30. is more like SVS.

  47. And so what? That means that it is even more primitive than OS/MVT. At
  48. least OS/MVT had some rudiments of scheduling, job scheduling, and many
  49. other things that are lacking in the Mac OS.
