  13. Does any one have any experience reading a variable blocked EBCDIC tape
  14. to a VAX/VMS system?  Many of the fields are packed.  Ive tried many types
  15. of input statements and no luck.  They system seems to read the tape but
  16. the resulting data set is blank.  The data are from HCFA (Health Care
  17. Financing Administration) Medicare (MADRS data).  Any help would be
  18. greatly appreciated.
