  13. I need advice as to how to transfer a very large SAS data set

  15. Specs:

  17.         The data set takes up about 57 megabytes.
  18.         It was created using version 5.18 under the VMS operating system.
  19.         It will be used by someone with an IBM/OS installation.

  22. Problems:

  24.         Receiver can not accept DAT tapes
  25.         PROC COPY does not create datasets that are bigger than one tape
  26.         so the dataset needs to be split up.
  27.  
  28. Does anyone know of an efficient way to transfer the data? I have tape
  29. capabilites, but would rather not use more than 5.
