  21. Announcing the Scholarly Communications FTP Server
  22.  
  23.  The Scholarly Communications Project of Virginia Tech with the support of
  24.  University Libraries would like to announce the establishment of an FTP server
  25.  for all scholarly electronic journals published at VPI.  Titles which were
  26.  previously available only by subscription to listserv lists include:
  27.  
  28. _The Community Services CATALYST_
  29. _Journal of Technology Education_
  30. _Journal of the International Academy of Hospitality Research_
  31. _The International Journal of Analytical and Experimental Modal Analysis_
  32.  
  33. Also available at this FTP site are the monthly logs for VPIEJ-L, issues of
  34. the electronic version of the _Newsletter of the Visual Communication Division
  35. of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication_, as well
  36. as frequently asked questions relevant to electronic publishing and tools for
  37. text processing and data compression for various platforms.  The server is
  38. available 24 hours a day for multiple logins via the Internet.

  46. About the Scholarly Communications FTP server:
  47. The server runs on a NeXTstation Turbo with 24Mb of RAM located at University
  48. Libraries, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
